Oh hey! I’m Molly. Thanks for stopping by – it’s so nice to meet you!
I have thought about having my own blog for a long time. This is actually attempt number three (they say “third time lucky” though, right?)
Blog attempt #1: I was in my second year of Uni and I started a foodie blog. Naturally, I had visions of becoming the next #CleanEating guru and general one-stop shop for all things #HealthAndFitness. In reality I only managed about 2 posts before self-doubt crippled my motivation and I gave up.
Blog attempt #2: I was travelling – backpacking around Australia – and (once again) had big plans to live ‘that nomadic life’, working freelance and blogging for a living. In reality, I’m pretty sure the only people who read my posts were my grandparents and (again), it was short-lived.
So here it is. Blog attempt #3. Because despite the previous two (misguided) attempts, I still love to chat, and write, and share my experiences. The difference is that, this time, I’m not doing it according to any greater agenda or goal. I’m doing it for the love of doing it.
I’m also not so afraid that I “haven’t got anything special, new, or imaginative to say”. I found the quote below and it made my realise that yes, there may be many, many, manyyy others doing the same thing online, but my experiences and my words are unique, and that what makes it different, and as valid as any other. I’m joining a community, not a competition.
I think new writers are too worried that it has all been said before.
Sure it has, but not by you.Asha Dornfest
So, welcome to my little corner of the internet! You’ve pretty much just found a place to read about the experiences of a 20-something gal, slowly figuring out what ‘adulting’ means and trying to go to bed on time!
I hope that what I share may help you, inspire you, empower you, encourage you and, most of all, make you smile!
Until next time,
